Hi Jeff: Thanks for the update! Don and Dave Roberts came to California for the Rose Bowl and the following day drove to Santa Barbara to see us and spend the night. We talked about you and they promised to forward this blog to us. Thank God for the gift of modern medicine and the healing that can occur. I think all healing is ultimately a miracle whether it be outright or through medicine developed by the intelligence God gave to people to do the research and develop the means. May this year be the best year of your life to date! Bob and Carol Ohman

Hi Jeff,

SOrry to hear you've had a little scare. I hope you're on the mend, now.

I wanted to talk to you about MyKidney.com - specifically to thank you for participating as one of the bloggers this year and to let you know that after much thought, I've decided to discontinue the website all together.

It hasn't been an easy decision, but one I feel confident with. I simply can't continue blogging about a topic that I truely need to put at a an arm's distance so I can stop living in the past and move forward.

I'm leaving the blog up (at least for now) but with all commenting disabled (no new blog posts, either). I didn't want you to think that I'd ditched you :)

Best of luck (and best of health!!) to you and your family in 2009. Contact me via email to discuss it further. It's been really amazing knowing you and having you blog on MyKidney.com. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ((hugs)).
