Hi Jeff: Thanks for the update! Don and Dave Roberts came to California for the Rose Bowl and the following day drove to Santa Barbara to see us and spend the night. We talked about you and they promised to forward this blog to us. Thank God for the gift of modern medicine and the healing that can occur. I think all healing is ultimately a miracle whether it be outright or through medicine developed by the intelligence God gave to people to do the research and develop the means. Have just caught up on your blog posts. I’ve been out of kelter blogging and reading blogs since about Thanksgiving. Hopefullly will get back on track in 2009. (Yeah, right)

Hi Jeff,

SOrry to hear you’ve had a little scare. I hope you’re on the mend, now.

I wanted to talk to you about MyKidney.com – specifically to thank you for participating as one of the bloggers this year and to let you know that after much thought, I’ve decided to discontinue the website all together.

It hasn’t been an easy decision, but one I feel confident with. I simply can’t continue blogging about a topic that I truely need to put at a an arm’s distance so I can stop living in the past and move forward.

I’m leaving the blog up (at least for now) but with all commenting disabled (no new blog posts, either). I didn’t want you to think that I’d ditched you
