Chester is even better in person. Very mellow dog, loves for you to pet him. We got him 1-1/2 years ago. His former family was going to get rid of him (I mean that in the literal sense), so I offered to take him. Of course, my wife readily agreed, so I brought him home from work that day.

He’s very protective of me. When I’m at the computer, he doesn’t let anyone near me, including my wife. He goes go after their feet if they step foot in the computer room! He’s not aggressive; it’s just his instinct.

We’re lucky with our dogs; all 3 of them are very friendly; I never have any reservations about visitors, including children.
